Current Staffing and Administration

Community School for People under Six is currently staffed by a director, assistant director, administrative assistant, 15 other teaching staff members, 1 kitchen and 1 janitorial support staff.

The director, Anna Mercer-McLean, has been at the center since December 1991. Most of the staff have been at the Center for 5 years or longer. Teachers are consistently working toward higher education and training.

Also, CSPU6 is supported by AmeriCorp Volunteers. These volunteers provide release time to teachers who are enrolled in school working on Associates or Bachelors degrees in Early Childhood. These volunteers provide continuity of care in the program.
